Biography:
Ibrahim Rana is a Dental Core Trainee with experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) and Paediatric Dentistry, with a strong interest in orthodontics. He will undertake a DCT2 post incorporating orthodontics and OMFS at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, the main cleft palate centre in Wales. Ibrahim has a strong interest in quality improvement and research and healthcare innovation, particularly the use of artificial intelligence to enhance patient education. He is also developing his leadership experience through the British Dental Association, helping organise educational events and representing the views of the dental profession.
