Biography:
DDS, with a PhD in the field of endocrinology and a postdoc on cell biology in mineralized tissues, she have implemented a group working on the genomic pathways of calcitriol in tooth development, supported by the French Biomedical Research Institute Inserm (1989). From that time, her activities have been devoted to one line of researches that is genetic circuities in dental and oral pathophysiology from bench to clinics. One of her activities is the successful training of a number of DDS-PhDs and PhDs in this topic who actually drive their own team. The second-one is the introduction of oral pathophysiology within a large biomedical frame supported by the National Inserm Institute (Team at Cordeliers Research Center) and Health Ministry (Rare Disease Hospital Center). These last years, she have been elected Dean of her Dental Faculty-Garancière at University of Paris, in which she pursue her efforts to promote education and oral public health through research activities and dissemination.
